Bricks Corner is quickly becoming "the pizza spot" in the valley. With an introduction to Pan Pizza, this Chef-owned and operated establishment is proud to serve you with fresh ingredients that will leave your taste buds raving and wanting more.
Bricks Corner has been an idea in the making since 2012. Chef Josh was first introduced to Utah on a ski trip to Snowbird. He immediately fell in love with the convenience of the city and the epic mountains to fulfill his addiction to the extreme outdoors. Shortly after, he moved to Sugarhouse and noticed the limited options and small pockets of restaurants throughout the neighborhood. It reminded him of the hood he grew up in in Chicago, but with limited options. He immediately started brainstorming ideas to create a comfortable, laid back neighborhood bar and grill into the community. Being born and raised in Chicago, he dreamed of thick cheesy buttery crust loaded with the freshest ingredients and set on the journey to bring pan pizza to Utah.
After much debate he decided on a Sicilian style of pan pizza that Detroit has famously brought to the forefront of the industry. Chef Josh spent countless hours working on recipes to create this truly unique and unforgettable pizza dough that leaves your mouth watering. Although the dough looks thick and full, our dough is light, creamy and fluffy and crispy where it should be. Not only do we rely on our ingredients to make this amazing dough, but we have installed a reverse osmosis system which gives us the water we need in order to bake our product properly. Once the dough is made, we have a double proofed 24-hour aging process, matched with artesian ingredients. We finish the process by loading up our pan pizzas with the freshest ingredients, like our high-grade mozzarella, fresh marinara, Italian sausage and all kinds of culinary creations all made in house. Once they are tossed into our granite stone ovens and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese, it’s Bon Appetit!
Bricks Corner journey began years ago but went into fast motion at the beginning of 2020. With the pandemic becoming reality, Chef was faced with a difficult decision to move forward or accept failure before it even opened. That was a risk he was willing to take and moved forward in March of 2020 and opened in December of 2020. Bricks Corner has been designed with covid killing technology throughout as well as a insulated heated patio. The kitchen is designed by a chef and is truly a chef's dream. Sanitation and safety at Bricks Corner is our main focus along with its delicious culinary creations all wrapped up in a custom brand new building decked out with incredible local original art. We're now open and here to stay and it's time for the people to find out for themselves what all the hype is with true pan pizza at Bricks Corner.
